Congratulations to all Superhero Half Marathon and Relay Runners! Results can be found at www.compuscore.com.
We are very excited to present the 4th annual Superhero Half Marathon and Relay on May 19, 2013! Last year's Superhero Half had over 1,500 runners and the 2013 race should exceed 2,000. In the coming years we expect the race to grow to epic proportions! (Remember the Midland Run?) You will have lots of company as you cruise through the beautiful, well-shaded country roads of Morris and Harding townships. Along the way you will pass plenty of water stations and cheering spectators. Don't forget your superhero costume! There will be special prizes for the best ones!
Proceeds go to Meals on Wheels of Morristown and the Ridge High School scholarship fund. Packet pickup is May 15th-18th at the Morristown Running Company. You can also pick up your packet race morning at the race site from 7am-8am. We strongly recommend picking it up at the Running Company ahead of time. Shirt size is not guaranteed on race day. Before the race you will receive a wicking technical t-shirt and goody-bag. At the end of the race you will be treated to a high-quality finisher’s medal and a buffet of carbo-rich snacks!
Bring the whole family! Since the course is a double loop, it is very spectator friendly. There is also the option of doing the race as a 2-person relay if you don’t feel up to running it on your own. |
Superhero Photos!Want more photos of yourself from the race? Have your friends & family take as many good photos of as many runners as possible during the race. The clearer the faces and bib numbers the better! Then, load all the pictures to our partner site, Scoutfoto.com where they will be matched up to each runner! You can then search for your bib number and find photos of yourself.
This is a FREE service and will only work well if everyone takes as many pictures as possible and then loads them to the site. It's a group effort! |
